Frankie Burnetts’s son, Fabian Burnett said his dad’s “campaign motto was ‘People over Politics’ he listened to the people’s or individual voices in the community to advocate for them” Fabian went on to say his dad “built relationships with people from all socioeconomic classes and learned from them and considered their thoughts and feelings,” Fabian credits his dads ``respect and commitment to the Brooksville community” in moving the city of Brooksville forward. On council, Fabian says, his dad’s support to eliminate red light cameras and naming streets after heroic African Americans were two of his stand out moments.
