The History
This combination one and two-story building are the former City Hall. The murals on this building of a fire truck and patrol car were completed in 2002 and perfectly highlight the original openings for the police and fire trucks which allowed them to be stored inside. It was originally constructed from brick and later stuccoed. The second-floor windows retain their arched openings.
A physical fire truck, much like the one you see on this mural, can be seen down the road at the Train Depot Museum at 20 Russell St. City Hall moved from here to 201 Howell Avenue.
