The History
The oldest information we have on this location came from local historian Bob Martinez’ Old Brooksville in Photo’s and Stories. An interior photo of this location shows it as Allen’s Grocery in 1929. More recently, the Bell Family provided photos of this location in 1955 when it was home to Snow’s Insurance Agency (now known as Snow and Bell Inc at 24 N Broad Street). The business was started by Roy and Marie Snow and this was their second location downtown.
Currently, this location is home to Luxe Salon Suites who received the City of Brooksville’s CRA property improving matching grant to update the exterior facade.
