The History

According to Hernando County Property Appraiser records, this building was constructed in 1915. In the 1920s, the location was home to Carlton’s Grocery and later became All-American Store (a company that was eventually bought out by Publix). In the 1980s, 10 S Main Street was home to Chris’s Barber Shop and Sunpress, Inc. In 2003, it was purchased by the Lowman Family who restored the building to its former glory. After renovations, it became the home of the rising sun and Bistro owned by Catherine and Patrick Reeves.
